What to do if you are in an accident that was YOUR FAULT?

In the event of an accident which you are at fault and a claim has to be made, we can assist you every step of the way; from the start of the claim to the final completion of repairs.

Know your rights

If you are unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident it is your legal right to have your car repaired anywhere of your choice.

Following an accident it is YOUR CHOICE where you have your vehicle repaired. All Insurers have an obligation governed by the FCA to ‘Treat customers fairly’, you do not need to use your insurance company’s favoured establishment and you do not need two estimates.

Your insurance company may try to get the repairs to your vehicle done at the lowest possible price without considering the quality of the repair as much as you would. Their ‘recommended repairer’ may not have manufacturer approval or hold a BSI Kitemark approval like we do at Cosmetic Repair Solutions.
